Sally, I want to thank you, thank you, thank you for your CD and DVD, your book, and your support and guidance. My ability to create a community in my classroom has totally been on high speed. I'm getting quick results with those strategies, and kids are applying the anti-bullying strategies. It's so fun to watch! They are even being nicer to one another in class! Now I love, love, love my job!! Thank you!!! Barb

Sally, Thank you for the reminder that the heart sees the depth of who a person is, and when we connect with another in that deep place, what an incredible physical, behavioral transformation can occur!  I am impacted deeply by your positive outlook! LB from Canada

Sally is so amazing! I actually cried at the end of a two day training session because I didn't want it to end. She has an attractive, dynamic personality which you rarely find. She taught me so much about the psychology of bullies, which improved my classroom management skills, my people skills, and my self confidence. Sally is truly one of the best people I have ever met. Oh--and "No thanks, I just had a banana" actually works! Try it! George C.

Dear Sally, I just finished listening to your CD, “Thank Got It's Monday.” As a second
grade teacher and mother of 3 small children, it was truly a life changing experience!
Before listening to your CD I had attended a Love and Logic seminar and read some of Jim Fay and Foster Cline's books, so many of the ideas weren't new. But hearing them from your perspective was very enlightening and helped me better understand how to use them at home and in my classroom. I especially loved the section about bullying. We have had a new anti-bullying curriculum at our school this year, and unfortunately I learned more from you in a half an hour than I taught my students all year!
I can't wait to get to school on Monday and start helping my students be better able to deal with bullies. Your work profoundly affects people and helps change lives! I just wanted you to know that. Sincerely, Pam G.

Hello there Sally,
In my building we are doing a study group every other week and you join us by DVD or CD to enlighten our day. Because I feel like I know your CD's pretty well, I jump around on them depending on the topic of choice from the staff members. It's so great to hear "This is the only energizing meeting I go to." Another staff that I work with listens to "Thank God It's Monday" and they call this meeting "Breakfast With Sally." They have coffee and treats and listen to you. I sure hope you realize what a positive influence you are to teachers!!! I always wonder if I can share something with you to give you back even a little of what you've given me. As I draw a blank I guess I feel like keeping in touch and letting you know how we use you... I hope this brightens your day! Pam from Wisconsin

Each time I listen to "Thank God it's Monday, I get new insights. Great material and most wonderful presentation! I think the area that impacted me most was the bit on fear; it was actually life-changing, and I just wanted to share that with you and say thank you. You spoke of how fear interferes with learning...that really, it gets in the way of life, so to release it. I am a person of faith but I have not done a good job of releasing my fear into the hands of the Lord...but something leapt inside me as I heard you say it again. I felt permission to be less than perfect as I listened to your discs again, so thank you for helping me step beyond my fear into a place I know I am “supposed” to be. It is pretty hard to help others when you are bound by fear. I have not arrived into the place of perfect peace, but I am not in the chains of paralyzing fear anymore either, and it feels good! You have encouraged me to learn to laugh at myself (and my children). So, from the bottom of my heart, Sally...thank you!

Hi Sally-
Just wanted to let you know a bit of the impact you had in Milwaukee last April.
Last night I was teaching a Love and Logic class. I had a drawing for some L&L materials and your CD was one of the “prizes.” The teacher who chose it was so excited. During a lull she was talking to people at her table about it. One of the other teachers said, Oh! Sally Ogden! She comes to Saturday Academy. She is really good and she is so funny. Then, to my amazement, she pulled out the handout from your workshop and was showing it to the other teachers at her table. She had it with her!

I then shared with her a story I should share with you.
My mom does family day care. She has mostly little ones (birth to three) but a couple of four and five year olds on days off school. One of the “older” boys keeps calling one of the three-year-old girls a baby. Each time he does, the girl comes running to my mom to complain. My mom has tried different things but the teasing kept on.
I told my mom about your book and about your one-liners, including out-crazy-the crazies. I told her the story about “the gypsies stole my dog.” I said I had no idea if this would make sense or work with a three year old, but it might be worth a try.
The next time the boy called the girl a baby and the girl came crying to my mom, my mom asked her if she’d like to know what some kids do when that happens. Then she told her about the one-liners.

The next time it happened, you won’t believe it, the three-year-old looked at the older boy and said in all seriousness, “The gypsies stole my dog.” The boy called her a baby again and she repeated herself! Then the boy went to find my mom and asked in a very puzzled tone, “Why is she saying that?” My mom did a great Jim Fay and shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know.” The problem hasn’t surfaced since then! I’d love for you to be able to come to Milwaukee again this year... Sarah J.
